The Amsterdammer: World Bulk Wine Exhibition

January 21, 2025

Late autumn each year brings a sense of peace to Northern Hemisphere wine growers as the harvest concludes and the holidays begin. Every year for the last 16 years, the World Bulk Wine Exhibition (WBWE) has encouraged wine industry colleagues from around the globe to convene for 2 days of connection, commerce, and collaboration. Set against the charming backdrop of Amsterdam, this event offers a unique blend of wine culture and commerce.

The 2024 show hosted 2,000 visitors, including 245 producers from 25 wine-producing countries. Over the course of 48 hours, industry leaders convened to discuss trends, exchange ideas, and secure deals. With 85% of attendees coming from international markets and 75 countries represented, the show underscores its status as a global hub for the wine industry. Despite its brief duration, the WBWE stands unparalleled in the sheer volume of wine bought and sold during this two-day meeting.

Dubbed "The Amsterdammer," this expo is an annual highlight for NexTerra. This year, we had the privilege of engaging with partners from 11 countries, reflecting on a successful 2024 and planning for 2025 and beyond. Strolling through Amsterdam's cobblestone streets, illuminated by festive holiday lights, added a sense of accomplishment as we prepared for another year of delivering exceptional wines.

As we expand our partnerships and offerings, events like the WBWE reinforce our commitment to crafting custom and private label wines that reflect the highest standards of quality and innovation.
